A Team Built on Purpose
TACT Bio Recovery was founded by Paul Harrip to bring professional biohazard and forensic cleaning to Victorian families and businesses with the dignity and care the situation deserves. The work TACT does sits at the intersection of three things most cleaning companies are not equipped for: regulated biohazard remediation, sensitive human situations, and complete discretion.
Over more than a decade, our team has responded to crime scenes, suicides, unattended deaths, deceased estates, hoarding situations, methamphetamine contamination, mould remediation, and biohazard emergencies across every corner of Victoria. From inner-Melbourne Victorian terraces through to far-regional Sunraysia farmhouses.
What We Do
Cleaning That Goes Beyond Cleaning
Biohazard and forensic cleaning is a specialist discipline. It requires PPE matched to the contamination level, containment protocols to stop cross-contamination, decontamination agents that work at a molecular level, and licensed waste disposal with full chain-of-custody documentation. None of that is the same as routine cleaning.
Our technicians are trained for every level: from a hoarder cleanup with no biohazard risk through to a full-Tyvek decontamination response. Equipment, chemicals, and procedures are matched to the job, not the other way around. We use HEPA-filtered air scrubbers, ATP testing for surface verification, professional-grade decontamination agents, and yellow clinical waste containers for everything that needs regulated disposal.
How We Work
We Handle the Difficult Part So You Don't Have To
When you contact TACT, you are often going through one of the worst experiences of your life. The last thing you need is the burden of coordinating cleanup logistics. We work directly with Victoria Police, the Coroner's Court of Victoria, real estate agents, property managers, insurers, solicitors, executors, NDIS plan managers, councils, and aged care providers.
For an unattended death in a rental, we coordinate with the property manager and insurer so the property is restored quickly. For a deceased estate, we work with the executor or solicitor on clearance and biohazard cleaning ahead of sale or rental. For a meth contamination, we work with the assessor and clearance tester so the regulatory process is followed correctly. You get one point of contact, and we handle the rest.
